The final home of the Rugheimer Project was sold in early January to mark the completion of this year-long development. The fourth home features many of the same design elements that define the established Park Circle neighborhood. The exterior incorporates traditional lowcountry roof lines and porches comibined with modern open floor plans on the interior. The floor plan features 3 bedrooms with 2.5 bathrooms with the master bedroom down and 2 large bedrooms upstairs. Entering the home you will immediately notice the open living room that meets the custom kitchen with an oversized kitchen bar. The kitchen features shaker style cabinets, Stainless steel appliances and granite countertops complete with a subway tile back splash and chimney range hood. You will also enjoy the rustic white oak hardwood floors that meet you at the front door and continue throughout all of the living areas on the first and second floor. For a better look at the complete development be sure to view the pictures on the Builders Portfolio Page.

The Schooner St FROG addition is complete and the homeowners now have an additional 550 sqft for guests to come visit Charleston in comfort. This addition included the demolition of the existing roof system to their existing detached two car garage so that we could add a full second floor complete with a bedroom, full bathroom, living room and kitchen.
The kitchen features shaker style cabinets with granite counter tops and a stainless steel refrigerator, range and microwave. In the living room we added two hi-lite windows along the main wall so that the space would enjoy natural lighting and have room for seating. You will also notice the cathedral ceiling dimension that we added to help open the space and provide added character to this compact living space. The wow factor of the project is the “spa like” shower, 5’x4′, that features a Delta rain shower head, hand-held shower and is completed with a bench seat and full glass enclosure. The tiling was chosen from Melcer tile located here in Charleston and the selection of 3″x8″ Sky Glass tile for the surround and a 5/8″ waterfall mosaic for the shower floor was a perfect combination. This homeowner did an excellent job selecting the right paint colors to complement the bathroom and kitchen finishes. The paint colors that were selected were all from Sherwin Williams, the Living room is Repose Gray (7015), the Bedroom is Argos (7065) and the bathroom is Window Pane (6210).

Delpino Custom Homes has completed another successful addition and master bathroom remodel in the exclusive Daniel Island neighborhood in Charleston. This successful renovation was focused on adding a 3rd full bathroom to the second story media room so the homeowner could create a comfortable guest suite. As anyone that has lived in Charleston knows, simply being here we seem to attract a higher volume of family and friend visitors than you might otherwise have to host simply because we live in a beautiful place. But we didn’t stop with the 2nd story addition, we also completed a full remodel of the master bathroom to help the homeowners maximize their existing master bathroom square footage.
The upstairs remodel included adding a full shed dormer that matched the existing homes exterior finishes and was also composed of the full bathroom addition. The highlight of the bathroom included a full stand up shower with a custom tiled surround, rain shower head and full glass enclosure. The vanity was completed with a cultured marble vanity top, a full linen closet, and a beveled mirror.
The master bathroom remodel was a true upgrade in every sense of the definition. The primary goal of the re-model was to remove a small partition wall that enclosed the shower, but also divided up the tight space that the bathroom had to offer. When we removed the wall we added a much more open feeling to the space that we could now install the high-end soaking tub, complete with massaging jets, aroma therapy, and multi-colored lighting effects. The shower was completed with a custom tile surround featuring 2 rows of accents, a dual niche, and a 12″ rain shower head. As nice as that new shower sounds, the new vanity was the focal point of this remodel, completed with its quartz counter top, dual brushed nickel faucets, highlighted by the beadboard accent wall and vanity tower. You have to see the pictures to really appreciate the bathroom remodel:
The latest development project from Delpino Custom Homes is located in the up and coming Park Circle Neighborhood of North Charleston. This future home site will feature 4 New Construction Cottage and Charleston Style homes that will complement the established neighborhood. After almost 3 years of flipping properties in the Park Circle neighborhood and the completion of 4501 Overbrook Ave in Park Circle (Fall 2013) it became evident that this rapidly changing neighborhood was ready for the next step.
This is why Delpino Custom Homes, LLC committed to purchasing a small mobile home park on Rugheimer Ave that consisted of 6 mobile homes that were in desperate need of being removed from this revitalizing streetscape. Using the many years of renovation experience, and the comfort in taking a distressed home and turning it into a sparkling newly updated home, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to use that vision to upgrade an entire block, rather that just one house of many. Take a look at what we mean when we say that these mobile homes were ready to be demolished:
In addition to this home site being in a great location in the Park Circle neighborhood ( normally determined by proximity to the Circle, East Montague, and the new Mixon development) this home site also features 2 beautiful Grand Oak Trees. If you are familiar with South Carolina you will know that these are practically considered state treasures, and at the least define the iconic landscape of the Coastal Lowcountry. These 2 Grand Trees will help us to adhere to one of our true development goals of maintaining the classic “Americana” feel of the Park Circle neighborhood and bridging the gap of the old era Charleston style with the new.
Make sure you keep up with the updates to watch how this project starts to transform the quaint nook in Park Circle.

Introducing Delpino Custom Homes. You Dream. We Build.
The same quality construction that you have come to know and trust over the years, just a few new logos. Nathan is constantly learning and refining all of his construction technique, and realized that it was finally time to refine the company logo. Pulling from his 9 years of renovation and construction experience in the Charleston area. Nathan started his career buying and selling old homes that were in need of major renovations to bring them back to life. Eventually over the years a few phone calls from friend and neighbors to help them repair their homes has led Nathan to committing to a full home building company.
In addition to renovating old homes the primary source for construction knowledge came from his experience working closely with Peter Savard, Carpenter/Builder in Cape May New Jersey. The knowledge that he gained from observing and applying the traditional carpertry techniques that Peter used to build quality Victorian style homes from the first framing nail to the last piece of trim has helped Nathan develop a quality approach to Custom Home Building in Charleston.
With over 50 full home renovations in the 9 years of experience in Nathan’s portfolio he has developed a unique approach to combining new construction techniques with traditional techniques that produce a quality home that will be ready to stand the test of time.
