Nathan Delpino

Founder & Owner

Nathan has been working in Charleston’s Construction industry since 2010 and has a very dynamic background beginning with his renovation company and growing into a Luxury Custom Home Builder. He truly enjoys working with customers on their new construction and addition projects from the first steps of the design phase through the final punch-out items of their new construction luxury homes. The many years he spent completing full home renovations on problem properties has helped him to develop many quality construction practices to ensure that his homes will be built with a focus on quality and ensure that they will exceed your expectations and stand the test of time.

Ellie Kneece

Design Manager

Ellie serves as the main point of contact for the office and works closely with local and national suppliers, subcontractors and clientele. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Ellie pursued her passion for art and design by obtaining a design degree from the University of South Carolina. Upon graduation, Ellie worked for a high-end interior design firm, where she traveled up-and-down the coast assisting in design for clients while also managing multiple freelance marketing and graphic design projects for several years before joining the Delpino Custom Homes’ team. While Ellie wears many different hats as part of the DCH team, her main focus is helping clients create one-of-a-kind designs and seeing their projects through to completion.

Danny Barkhimer

Site Supervisor

Danny, our Site Supervisor, has been with our team for over ten years and has over 100 Delpino Custom Homes projects under his belt. He is responsible for coordinating all activity on site and making sure all of our construction projects are completed on time. As a skilled carpenter by trade, Danny is very hands-on in every Delpino Custom Homes project. From site building custom closets to confirming every last accessory is hung correctly, Danny is a details guy. From the start to finish of every project, Danny is heavily involved in confirming product specifications, site measurements, construction materials, subcontractor’s work, utility connections, and designer final finishes. He ensures that each project is moving forward as per building codes, company protocols and client’s specifications
