Delpino Custom Homes has completed another successful addition and master bathroom remodel in the exclusive Daniel Island neighborhood in Charleston.  This successful renovation was focused on adding a 3rd full bathroom to the second story media room so the homeowner could create a comfortable guest suite.  As anyone that has lived in Charleston knows, simply being here we seem to attract a higher volume of family and friend visitors than you might otherwise have to host simply because we live in a beautiful place.  But we didn’t stop with the 2nd story addition, we also completed a full remodel of the master bathroom to help the homeowners maximize their existing master bathroom square footage.

The upstairs remodel included adding a full shed dormer that matched the existing homes exterior finishes and was also composed of the full bathroom addition.  The highlight of the bathroom included a full stand up shower with a custom tiled surround, rain shower head and full glass enclosure.  The vanity was completed with a cultured marble vanity top, a full linen closet, and a beveled mirror.

The master bathroom remodel was a true upgrade in every sense of the definition.  The primary goal of the re-model was to remove a small partition wall that enclosed the shower, but also divided up the tight space that the bathroom had to offer.  When we removed the wall we added a much more open feeling to the space that we could now install the high-end soaking tub, complete with massaging jets, aroma therapy, and multi-colored lighting effects.  The shower was completed with a custom tile surround featuring 2 rows of accents, a dual niche, and a 12″ rain shower head.  As nice as that new shower sounds, the new vanity was the focal point of this remodel, completed with its quartz counter top, dual brushed nickel faucets, highlighted by the beadboard accent wall and vanity tower.  You have to see the pictures to really appreciate the bathroom remodel:
